CONFERENCE JUNE 12TH 2007
"TOO MANY ORGANISATIONS KNOW TOO LITTLE ABOUT THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF DIVERSITY IN INNOVATION - THIS CONFERENCE WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW!"
This was the conference slogan - in which we discussed how homogeneity can be described as one of the biggest threats to innovation in most organisations, and how it tends to sneak in on us when we
expect it the least: EVEN in our innovation efforts!
Innovation thrives on diversity of thought, diversity of knowledge, and diversity of thinking - and is all to often killed off by homogeneity!
INNOVATING WITH DIVERSITY therefore worked to install warning mechanisms into our conference participants, wanting to help them fight homogeneity in innovation, and none the least, provide them with meaningful insights into how to install more diversity into their quest for innovation.
The conference featured a strong list of speakers, including Philips Design, MIT, Kraft Food, Lifestraw and Duke University. See the video about one of the innovations being presented at the conference below:
