Jonathon Cummings is an Associate Professor of Management at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (US). He spent three years at the MIT Sloan School of Management as an Assistant Professor after completing his dissertation and post-doc at Carnegie Mellon University.
During graduate school he interned at Intel (studying collaborative software) and at Motorola (studying knowledge management).
He has an undergraduate degree in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in social psychology from Harvard University. His current research focuses on social networks and teams in organizations, and the role of knowledge sharing in work distributed across different geographic locations.
